photo 101- horizontal Vs. vertical view

This was a experiment of horizontal view vs. vertical one of Gorge du Verdon, France. Although most of the time the horizontal view is more suitable for our vision, this time the deep canyon and vertical stone wall made me think differently.

In my opinion the vertical view is more dramatic. What is your opinion?
