I have captured this portrait of ‘boistom’ at my home town in India. The crisscross of light and shadow on his dress intermingled with the creases on his face. He was singing spiritual song and begging for alms. He was also playing kartal the typical musical instrument used for devotional song. His face depicts his devotion and concentration. Although he has noticed that I am taking his photograph, he was not disturbed. Nothing from outer world could break his concentration.
